Gérard Henry
Gérard Henry was the chief editor of the bilingual (French and Chinese) cultural magazine Paroles published by Alliance Française de Hong Kong. He writes on China, Hong Kong art and culture, and the visual arts of France for a variety of magazines including Paroles, China perspectives, The philosophical literary review La Soeur de l’Ange and Le Monde diplomatique. He has been the Hong Kong and China correspondent and cultural columnist for Radio Suisse Romande in Switzerland and currently writes a blog “Entre montagnes et mer” on Hong Kong with his drawings on the weekly Courrier international in Paris. In 2008 he published a book titled Chroniques hongkongaises (Editions Zoe, Geneva), and is co-author of Foodscape (Editions MCCM, Hong Kong, 2009). He has exhibited in Hong Kong and Macau.
