Hug Me

In this photograph, the artist plays with the forms of the human body. The composition of duplicated limbs and torsos frame the Chinese characters for “Hong Kong”, creating a visual ambiguity that challenges the boundaries between the organic and the inorganic.

With the "Hong Kong" flipped to its mirror image, the artist comments on the self-obsessed culture of a metropolitan, global city.
