Maye
Maye is self-taught in painting, and his works took off from the walls - graffiti - into the canvas in 2013. He works on these two practices in a complementary way. His work on canvas makes us travel through allegorical scenes, inspired by his personal experiences, his memories and nourished by his imagination. His landscapes are a contrasting tableau of nature that covers the ruins of a futuristic world. The confrontation between technology and lush vegetation reminds us of the fragility of the relationship between man and nature.
Maye's works were exhibited in galleries, such as at the Stolen Space Gallery. They have also been offered at auctions, recording a $50,121 USD at Drouot-Estimations in 2020.
